This year the College Assembly voted to invite Professor Aswath Damodaran from NYU Stern Business School to be the 2013 recipient of the Herbert Simon Award. The concept behind this award is to give it annually to outstanding scholars of business related sciences, whose work has had a great impact on the students’ thinking and studies.

Professor Aswath Damodaran has reached significant developments in the field of Corporate Finance, Corporate Valuation and Managing Investments, and became an outstanding teacher during his career. He was ranked to be in the TOP 12 business professors according to Business Week. He graduated and incepted at UCLA.

The Award has been established in 2005 and has been given since then to such scholars as Robert Grant of Bocconi University (2008) or C.K. Prahalad of University of Michigan(2009). For further information and the full list af recepients, please visit the Award’s webpage.
